Privacy notice
What we do with what you tell us.
Short version: three people read your application, it lives in one database in Europe, and we delete it a year after the event.
Who holds your data
The Sawadee Burn ticketing team — Eyal, Artem and Ori — are jointly responsible for the application data. They are the only people with access to it.
To reach us about anything on this page, write to privacy@sawasdeeburn.com.
What we collect, and why
Only what you type into the registration form: your name, your email, an optional messaging handle, the country you live in, and your answers about camps, Burns, principles and how you would like to contribute.
We use it for one purpose: reviewing applications and contacting you about yours. We do not use it for anything else, we do not profile you with it, and we do not sell, rent or share it with anyone.
We ask you not to put health, dietary or other sensitive details in the free-text boxes. If we ever need that for safety, we will ask separately and explain why.
On what basis
Your consent, given by ticking the boxes at the end of the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and withdrawing it costs you nothing except that we can no longer process your application.
Where it lives
In a Neon database hosted in the European Union, reached only by this website's application form. Two companies process it on our behalf: Neon, which runs the database, and Vercel, which hosts the site. Both are bound to handle it only on our instructions.
It is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not copy it into spreadsheets, group chats or anybody's laptop.
How long we keep it
Twelve months after the event ends, then we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to privacy@sawasdeeburn.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in Thailand, that is the Personal Data Protection Committee.
